Spring

Martin Duffy
£17,500.00

Martin’s fascination with movement and balance is perfectly captured in this limited edition piece, showcasing his use of fine detail and surface texture to elicit a sense of strength, power and control.

Cast in bronze, every detail is perfectly judged to enhance and amplify momentum within the sculpture, the quality of the casting creating shadow and light as on a moving body.

Each piece is individually sculpted by Martin in his Carmarthenshire studio before being cast in a British foundry to ensure that the detail and quality of the sculpting is retained through to the finished piece.

Standing Form

Wendy Lawrence
£900.00

This piece epitomises the simplicity of form and carved elements that are a signature of Wendy’s work and her fascination with geological formations.

Clay is carved to create the ‘natural’ folds on the surface of this piece, while the volcanic like texture is achieved by adding clay to a clay foundation and then carving into the clay surface. The natural look is amplified by adding several layers of glaze imbued with silicon carbide.

In the reference to the ancient standing stones of our ancestors. Connecting us with the standing stone of the ancients Brown colour?

The works are high fired and are suitable for any interior or exterior spaces.

Stirring Beauty

Angela Farquharson

The second in a series of bronze sculptures this piece immediately draws the observer into the world of the  sculpted - pausing to wonder what has caused her to stir, what dream is she waking from.

Sculpted in her Carmarthenshire studio, this tactile and sensuous piece epitomises her use of flowing lines and textures to create a sensuous piece celebrating the inherent beauty of the female form.

Strata Form

Wendy Lawrence
£650.00

This beautiful abstract sculpture inspired by the texture and form of rockface strata, showcases Wendy’s use of silicon carbide to create a surface texture that is part of the form itself. The carved surface exaggerates the natural erosion of the rock while the addition of oxides to the glaze creates this unusual colouring.
